Comments: Our generation is dying at the rate of 1200 every day. The years some of us spent at Greer School were the years between World War II and the Korean War. We have an obligation to inform historians about what it was like to be kids living at that time in an institution for "children from broken homes." Agree? or Disagree? |

Comments: My brother John and I attended Greer School from the time he and I were eight and nine years old respectively. We began in 1952 at Marcy Cottage with "Mom" Morton and then I went on to Daisy and Rapallo. Both John and I left Greer School in 1958 for a small boys Episcopal school (Hoosac School) in Hoosic, N.Y. from which we both graduated, he in 1962 and I in 1960. |
